I’ve browsed 1000s of creator websites and this is what I’ve noticed:

The header is a big picture of themselves with their name, what they do, then dozens of videos showing their work, followed by social proof, and wrapping up with how to get in touch with them.

Step 3: Offer Freebies of Value

Directly below the social proof, provide additional value through free resources.

Whether a free call, a how-to guide, or engaging videos, these offerings demonstrate your expertise and enhance user engagement.

In Becca’s case, she is an educator for Website Designers and gives away free tools, more value on her blog and podcast, and a link to her evergreen content on YouTube. That’s a lot of freaking value!

What can you give away to your clients that would surprise and delight them?

Step 4: Introduce Yourself

As visitors scroll, use this opportunity to introduce yourself.

Sharing your journey, skills, and motivations fosters a connection with your audience. Afterward, restate your CTA to prompt action once more.

You can go deep and share your journey and transformation or share something lighter. You're all good as long as it’s relatable and showcases your SuperPower!

Step 5: Simplicity

Maintain a clutter-free and organized homepage layout. Avoid overwhelming visitors with excessive content, colors, visuals or text. Keeping your message concise and the layout clean ensures a focused user experience.

Know Your Tribe

Define your content niche and identify your target audience. Understand their interests, pain points, and preferences. Tailor your content accordingly.

I began to target UGC creators on Twitter in November 2022 and expanded that niche to include Creators as a whole to help a broader community of founders.

Create Evergreen Content

Craft compelling tweets that offer value, insight, entertainment, or information to your audience that never expires.

I chose a sharp focus on education and provided as much value as possible on the Twitter platform so it was easy to save and execute without leaving the app.

To give more value, I added a newsletter where I share longer content and significantly more value.

Give Value, Then Give Even More Value

Gift your audience value to help them without asking for anything. Give away so much value you get DMs asking why you give so much away for free. (Some of my favorite DM’s to receive!)

This was always my strategy from the beginning. I give away coaching, templates, pro tips, and anything I can that will move the needle in a creator’s business. Kindness is my currency.

Have An Comprehensive Content Strategy

Instead of just winging it, put together a proper content strategy. Determine your pillars, key topics, and content types and establish a consistent posting schedule

Regular tweets keep you on your audience's radar and show your commitment to providing valuable content.

I started Tweeting every day and have maintained that moving forward. I use HypeFury to schedule my Tweets, so I never forget.

Here's what I would do if I had to start from scratch today:

• DM 5 people a week and let them know what you appreciate about their content

• 30 minutes daily - engaging with big accounts (High-value replies)

• 30 minutes daily - engaging with your peers (Root for others!)

• Post 2-3 value-based threads a week

• Post 1 tweet per day

• Don’t quit
