My 5-step strategy to cash in as a Creator

As a Content Creator, you can tap into this market to create a lucrative and sustainable business model.

Here's my 5-step strategy to cash in $$$$$ as a Creator.

1) Research the Industry

Anytime you add a new channel to your business, you must do proper research.

Take the time to research and document the following:

  • Examples of Real Estate UGC on TikTok, YouTube, and Instagram.

  • Follow other Real Estate UGC creators that inspire you.

  • Determine what Real Estate UGC format and aesthetic resonates with you most. Then decide what YOUR unique style will be.

  • Lookup the top 50 local Real Estate agents in your area and document their contact info for later.

2) Shoot Your Sample Videos

If you're new to Real Estate UGC, you will need to build up your video library.

The simplest way to do this is as follows:

  • Write down all the agents and brokerage connects YOU know of your network. It's surprising how many of our friends and family are in Real Estate worldwide. Use this to your advantage! They already know you, and you don't have to be nervous when filming.

  • Reach out to them and let them know you'd like to offer a free UGC video in exchange for a testimonial/review.

  • Use your research and inspo to create your shoot list.

  • Partner with the agent to obtain the info on the listing to use during content creation, post-production, and editing.

  • Make plans to go onsite with them on future listings to shoot your content.

  • Create and edit your Real Estate UGC videos.

3) Create Your Real Estate UGC Website

For Real Estate UGC, I suggest creating a separate website for this unique portfolio. 

Doing so will give a clear message to Agents and Brokers that this is your specialty and you're serious about your work.

Here's what to include:

  • Catchy Real Estate UGC hook or slogan on your landing page header.

  • A bio about you, your passion for Real Estate UGC (Remember, it's all about the buyer), and what you have to offer that is unique.

  • Upload at least 3 examples of Real Estate UGC videos previously created with your agent.

  • Add the Agent reviews of your UGC work.

  • Create 2-3 bundle offerings to choose from. (Always include "custom packages available upon request.

  • Your contact info and socials.                                                                

Make sure your website design is modern and professional, and publish it!

4) Pitch to Agents + Brokerages

Compose your pitch email to the agents and brokerages you want to work with.

Use the list you compiled during the Research phase, and email every person on that list!

5) Close the Deal

You've heard me say this before: Pitching in person is a gold mine of opportunity for ANY creator ANYWHERE in the world.

Once an Agent or Brokerage replies with interest, meet with them in persona and share your unique vision for how you add value will boost their business.

Discuss their business goals and determine what package aligns best with that vision.

Congrats, you just closed your first Real Estate UGC deal!

Leverage the same creative process you used when making your sample videos, and come prepared when meeting your Agents at the listing. 

After you deliver the assets, ask the agent for a testimonial/review and update your website portfolio.  Keep updating as you grow and improve!
